Fiber Lab 800 & 1600

The Fiber Lab 800 & 1600 solutions provide a professional, portable approach for engineers that require custom lengths of fibre for network simulation, latency, and demonstration applications.

With designs available that exactly fit both the standard and large optical fibre spools from leading fibre manufacturers Corning, OFS, and Draka/Prysmian, these Fiber Labs help to organise and protect valuable fibre in an efficient manner, while producing consistent and reliable results over the long-term.

Due to M2’s in-house fibre spooling capabilities, the Fiber Lab 800 offers any continuous length up to 30km, while the larger Fiber Lab 1600 offers up to 60km. For true network simulation and/or training scenarios, loss “events” can be included in the length of fibre upon customer request.

In addition to all of the performance-based benefits, the transparent enclosures provide an eye-catching display, perfect for trade shows and demonstrations.
