OTDR Sidekick | Launch Box & Pulse Suppressor

The Sidekick is designed to provide a compact, durable, and lightweight solution for fibre optic field technicians seeking to eliminate the “dead zone” at the beginning of a fibre cable when using an OTDR.  Sometimes referred to as a pulse suppressor or launch cable, each unit is fully-customised to the user’s specifications, offering any fibre type and length to 1km.

Additionally, Sidekick modules are available with two interface styles, depending on user preference:

• Style A: Bulkhead interfaces (change leads/connectors as needed or when worn out)

• Style B: Pass-through interfaces (directly terminated 1m leads/connectors)

All Sidekick units are manufactured in the USA with quick delivery due to advanced, in-house fibre spooling and manufacturing capabilities at our facility.
